Biomodal specializes in the traditional and digital 3D visualization of anatomical and biological structures.

Past projects include demonstration models, display models, anatomical models, custom prosthetics, digital models for virtual reality and animation, facial reconstructions, museum displays, and medical prototypes.

Biomodal was founded by Andrea Stevenson Won in 2005. She is a graduate of the Biomedical Visualization Master of Science program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators and the American Anaplastology Association. Before founding Biomodal, she had 10 years of experience in modelmaking and commercial sculpture for advertising, prototypes, and displays. Some of her previous work can be seen in the Hall of Ocean Life at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
