The Biomodal Anaplastology Clinic practice includes consultation, treatment planning, and the creation of custom facial prostheses. We are proud to provide Livingskin passive upper extremity prostheses and custom silicone covers for myoelectric terminal devices as well. Our clinic is based out of the offices of the Center for Prosthetic and Orthotic Care, located at 1233A Front Street in Raleigh, North Carolina. We welcome patients from all over the Southeast as well as the Triangle area and will work with you to create a treatment plan that is both convenient and affordable.

Our prostheses are sculpted to fit your anatomy, tinted to match your skin, and cast in soft silicone rubber. Prostheses can be held in place with adhesives, anatomically retained, or retained through bone-anchored implants. Three or four appointments are usually necessary to create a custom prosthesis. Prostheses do need to be removed daily for cleaning. Depending on how well they are cared for, they will need to be replaced every one to three years. To start the process of creating a custom prosthesis, we will need a referral from your doctor. Contact us at andrea@biomodal.com. or by calling (919)906-0287 for more infomation on arranging an initial consultation.

We can also provide custom solutions for unusual cases, including custom cranioplasty plates and other devices.

Because of patient privacy concerns, patient pictures are not posted on the web. To see the portfolio, or to discuss special projects, contact Andrea Stevenson Won at andrea@biomodal.com.
