This model of a heart with the major vessels retracted was sculpted at three times life- size to create a teaching model of the heart showing the features of the pericardium. Once the form of the heart had been approved by the professor, the heart was then digitized by hand. The heart was texture- mapped and the pericardium was added in the program 3dstudio Max.
